Question by : I want to get a pygmy goat or 2?
I live in Maryland.
-What are some good sites or farms to find them at?

I know goat pricing already…. um.

-What are some good supply sites for them, as is food and regular medication.
-What is the least amount of space ONE pygmy goat should have.

  1. First check with your county zoning commission as to what your land is zoned. In Maryland even pygmy goats are considered livestock. Having any livestock on land not zoned for them can be up to 2k fine per animal.

  2. Goats dont need a lot of space, but it is nice to give them room to run. Go to a feed store to buy food and ask about goats for sale. Advice: Buy girls. Boys smell very musty!
