I have two cricket boxes where I raise crickets (as hobby) – and sometimes put left over crickets that other people leave at my place. I do this in a storage…

  1. Crickets will crawl up and out on the wires and the sides of his setup.
    Don’t have something like this in your house or you will have a serious
    cricket infestation

  3. I bought a thousand crickets and thought that I had given them the perfect
    set up. They all died a week later. I have no Idea how to keep them alive.
    Any tips?

  6. Cool…..i really like watching insects do their thing….but I hate them!
    Especially worms and spiders and ants and etc..

  10. A friend of mine decided to raise crickets last year and found out that the
    hundreds and thousands of crickets really create a bad odor in his work
    shop and so he let them go and that’s that-ha! Those dang things stink up a
    place-seriously!

  11. on the top 1/3 there is plastic on the sides – the wires are hanging off
    bailing wire across the top i.e. the wires you see do not go into cricket
    area. biggest problem I’ve had is spiders getting in the box and egg crates
    and eating the babies – have to check and kill spiders often I agree NEVER
    put the loud crickets in your house – in case a couple escape – I keep mine
    in a storage building which works well in summer time without light bulbs
    P.S. Put on glove to smash spiders
