  3. fist of all get a live turkey, grab the seasoning that you gonna use and mix it with his food, then make it drink wine whiskey (the good stuff) So the flavor goes even to this bones. you need to do this at least 3 months b4 thanksgiving so it could take effect on your live turkey. Then when its cooking time just seasoned normally and you will have a turkey posses with flavor from above. Not a lie where I come from Dominican Republic (the greatest baseball players) We have goats that eat oregano from live fields and the taste those goats have is no match for any other type of meat on Earth. You could the first opne raising these types of turkey in the US. good luck

  4. The first best thing you can do to a turkey is to brine it– look up a brine recipe. Brine is a salt water & seasoning soak. It gets the bird juicy and flavorful through osmosis.

    The next best thing you can do for your turkey is do *not* stuff it. Make the stuffing separately in a baking dish. The bird will come out better, because when you stuff it the breast meat will be overcooked before the internal stuffing full of nasty raw turkey juice is brought up to a safe temperature.

    Oh, the stuffing will be better, too… it won’t be all mushy after spending hours in a dead bird. Just drizzle some pan juices on it and bake it.

    The final best thing you can do for your bird is not baste it. Think about it– when you take a shower, does water go through the surface of your flesh? No– same thing with turkeys. Basting just slows cooking time because you let out heat every time you open the oven. Prolonged exposure to heat is what dries out a bird.

    If you follow those 3 guidelines, already your turkey will be better than most people’s.

    As for what stuffing to use– get the bags of seasoned herb bread stuffing & follow the recipe. Use chop meat or sausage or something, or bacon. Season it with celery salt, pepper, poutry seasonings. Yum.
