Not the video I was wanting to put out this week and sorry its over 9 minutes long. But I’ve trying to get over a cold and this was all I could muster. Just …

  1. Forget Stuperthrive. Check out tea for germination:
    http://faq.gardenweb.com/faq/lists/pepper/2002074906031735.html

This brings seed up faster than anything I’ve ever seen. Combined with a
heating & massage pad with the vibration set to low at night & high during
the day, I’ve had seeds come up in one night. (Tomato mostly.) Anyway,
they’ve done some studies @ unis on chamomile tea and it has some very
beneficial effects on plants. (BTW, I’m not affiliated with that site in
    any way.)

  2. If your battery is sitting straight on cement your more than likely losing
power trough ground. Biggest reason you never store battery’s on ground.
Try putting them on a pallet or wood, could be easy cheap fix

  3. your seedlingsI think had weak lighting. Plus I think you need a heating
pad under them set at 75*. or set them on something that gets warm, put
clothe under to buffer heat if too hot…oh, and I thought your were should
soak the rock wool for 24hrs at a pH of 5.5 until they stablize.

  5. Where to begin with you? First, what a moronic and uneducated statement to
make, “rockwool is the only medium that has food stocked ready for
consumption”. You clearly are clueless. Coco is the only way to go and
also, not only does it include “food” it also includes free beneficial
bacteria not found anywhere else. Coco is what all the big guys use, only
people from the 70’s would think spun rock is the way to go. Go read a
    book.

  6. Did you let the battery freeze for a long time? If so your battery is shot

  7. not sure that i agree with u about the superthrive results – u seem to have
a very good set up – how about trying the experiment again (apols) under
more strenuous conditions (ie) conditions you would expect to find in an
amateur`s grow room; colder/less light etc

  12. so the more drops used the longer it lasts. unlike conventional fertilizer
were the more used the more it burns. but i do not recomend going with the
max rate on vegs. considering that they will likely die out after a level
    of production

  13. Cloning from clippings hasn’t failed me yet. The yield might be a little
less, but at least I know where my plant came from, and it cuts corners on
the clock. The dark spotting on the leaves could be phosphorus deficiency,
or possibly due to no dark time. The spots appear in the center, which
tells me it likely isn’t disease related, but could be over-fertilization.
If it gets out of control I’d check the PH, trim back affected leaves.

  14. rockwool is the only medium that has food(nutrients) both stocked and ready
for consumption.. coco on the other hand will have food stocked but not
always available for consumption… So, I guess it is 1970.. gosh darn
    quantum entangling…

  15. if the battery is not maintenance free type, you can use a screwdriver to
pry open the cap. There will be a number of holes that should have a fill
marker on them. Top them up to the mark with distilled water only.

  16. I’ve been watching your videos for 2 days now! I’m going to start hydro
growing myself. Thank you for taking the time to make all of these videos!
I have learned A LOT! As for your battery, it looks as though you had the
battery sitting directly on concrete. That’s a bad idea, for some reason
the concrete will draw the life right out of it, try putting it on some
scrap 2×4. Also you might want to try to keep the battery warm, they tend
to loose a charge when they get cold. Hope i’m not to late

  18. Not sure, but I would say that the DWC system definately needs more bubbles
in the bucket. Add some bigger air stones maybe that’ll help.

  19. the best battery for high loads and quick recharge is the Optima yellow top
deep cycle battery. Any battery designed for boat trolling motors is also
good for servicing high loads and quick rechargability.

  20. Batteries drop voltage when the temperature drops, get a plank of wood or
something to sit your battery on. Plus have you tried putting the solar
panels outside your window rather than inside? They work on the difference
in temperature to create energy so if they were outside they might work
better like the ones on houses? Im growing 3 habenero’s and a moruga
scorpion! Got 2 habenero in pots with coco coir and 1 in hydro DWC and they
are doing great! I Dont bother with the super thrive though!

  21. How high is the charge voltage? if you took a voltmeter to your car and
monitored the battery voltage with the motor off, then again with the motor
on, you would see that the alternator puts out a higher voltage than what
you might be getting from your panels. Increase the charge voltage. The
type of battery you use, will also be a factor in your problem. Give more
information on what you find, and I could comment more.

  23. Sorry for getting you so upset buddy… I was just quoting from somethin i
read in an old Maximum Yield article… they were trying to explain grow
mediums and their bennys and flaws. as for coco, the way they explained it
was stated as above.. I think you need to do some more gardening, to
relieve you of your frustrated anger.. besides seeing how ur from the 70s
and all… you should be with me, on this. Not the latter.

  25. Superthrive isn’t really for seedlings, its more for reducing stress and
shock from transplanting plants and tree’s. In the past when transplanting
normally, my plants would go into shock, and start to turn slightly yellow
and droopy, the last time I used Super Thrive and the plants looked like
they were never even transplanted. They stayed green and firm throughout
the whole process. They just say you CAN soak seeds in it if you want, that
    is not its primary use.
