you could also use pantyhose to remove the majority of water from the peat.
mixing I like to use a concrete mixer to mix it all at once.

could you use cooked and crushed eggshells for calcium instead of the lime?

Nice video, and as an alternate, instead of the peat moss and line, just
use wet newspaper and cardboard paper as your base layer, then add any
kitchen vegetable scraps, or vegetation you may find in your area – manure
is not required but does help in providing worms needed nutrition to
multiply rapidly.
