  2. Great, Mark. A totally layman’s question here. I live in a coastal area of
    Central America with a daily breeze of 13 knots with frequent gusts to 25
    knots and higher. Would your system provide enough to continually provide
    enough charge a battery bank to run a small household? That is, just
    running a couple of computers, a refrigerator during the day and add low
    wattage LED lighting at night? I have also a electric well pump. I want off
    the grid completely. What would you recommend?

    unscrewing?

  9. This is an awesome DIY tutorial. For those of you who are not really
    familiar with renewable sources, make sure you look at schematics of how to
    connect this thing to battery banks. With wind turbines they always need to
    have a load, so when the batteries are full, you need a way to shift the
    energy or you could blow up the batteries. The blocking diode is just the
    beginning. You should have fuses, charge controller and “dump load” that
    can eat the extra power.

    I live in Canada. I went to a mediation. To build this generator and bought
    a few things. And it cost me 164.60 and has not including the motor. The
    building anyway :-)

  25. ok one question Why wouldnt the yaw axis bearing just lift out of the pipe
    in a severe wind? I didnt see anything holding it in the pipe but weight,
