How do you cook Chicken Tikka?

Question by Hicktown girl66: How do you cook Chicken Tikka?
All recipes ask you to put the oven on broil. Is that right?? Isn’t that too hot? I don’t want to burn the outside and leave the inside uncooked.

I was planning on doing it in the oven, as bbq is not an option right now.
