  2. If both of them are being honest it sounds like he is the right size. He may just be a little smaller than his brother. I wouldn’t worry unless he looks emaciated.

  3. The weight can vary a lot depending on the build of both the mother and the father and the activity of the pups. As long as he’s eating and healthy, I wouldn’t worry about it. He sounds like he’s within the ballpark of his siblings.

  4. My 11 week old APBT is much thinner than her litter mates. The vet said not to worry about her weight, that she is healthy and growing. She is just thinner because I am walking her 2 to 3 miles over the course of the day and her litter mates are still confined to a kennel with little physical exercise.

As long as he is growing and the vet says he is healthy don’t worry and go take a nice long walk. 🙂

  5. pit bulls can vary widely in size. he could just be growing slower than the others, that’s not to say he won’t have a growth spurt. =) he’s fine in terms of his size as long as he looks healthy.

on a side note, PLEASE don’t feed nutro. it really is crap food. i used to feed it, until i found out it’s really not high quality like it claims to be. go to dogfoodanalysis.com and check it out, you’ll see. evo, however, is a great food.

  7. he sounds like a good weight. please check out http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ and try to get your dog on a better food. I foster dogs and puppies and ALOT of them had allergies on that food. look for a 4 star or higher food. personally i use wellness, blue buffalo, and taste of the wild. good luck with your puppy =)
