  1. Hi, it’s possible, how economic it is, it’s about work. Try search for
duckweed farms, it’s my best bet to get a autotrophic – heterotrophic
synergy in close loop with aquaponics. One idea: imagine a duckweed tank
with chicken mesh laid very close to surface, allowing free range
eat-all-you-can self-service chicken feed. Then use David’s ecologic
system. As for goats in close systems, no idea, only open system.

  2. Would they eat just regular grass from my lawn? What about weeds and

  3. can you lift up the mat so we can see if it’s all together and how easily

  4. I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to grow fodder (for feeding goats,
chickens and other animals) in an aquaponics set up. This video definitely
    makes it look possible!

  6. Why did you use that cloth underneath? Is it necessary? What else would I
be able to use if I cannot find that particular material at the store?

  7. Thanks. Yes, herbivores and omnivores will eat blended or ground up
grasses. Including tilapia, crawfish and carp.
