Question by : Getting permission to raise money?
Hi,
I am 13 years old. I want help people and I do loads for charity but thats with organizations and I want to do my own thing for ‘Make a wish UK’ ,I know you need permission to raise money ,how do I get this? Also could you tell me some good ways to raise money?

  1. Contact the charity you would like to raise money for and ask them for help. They should be able to tell you how you get permission to raise money for them and they should also have some ideas for you.

    As for good ways to raise money:
    selling something – bake sale, candy, rummage sale, crafts, concessions at an event
    dance
    a walk where the participants get pledges for how ever many blocks or miles they walk
    a duck float – where people pay to purchase a duck that can float – the ducks are all numbered – then the ducks are released on a stream or a body of water and the first ducks to the end are the winners – the people who bought that duck’s number win a prize
    any kind of fun event where you can get people to pledge money to do something – plunge into water, walk around a track, etc.
    raffle tickets – if they are legal in your area
