  1. I absolutely love each and every one of your videos, but this one really
touched my heart. My paternal grandmother taught me to garden at a very
young age and now I’m teaching my daughter. You are right, John. There is
nothing more important or special than transferring this knowledge that can
    help us to survive.

  4. Good stuff man, keep it up 🙂 i think ppl are scared of bugs, i was scared
of spiders when i was young (big ones) and you go past your fear after a
while. You accept it cause its nature and feel more as one with it all. The
smell of earth on your fingers is great. You could ask people anywhere if
they got a question about something and you could show it to them as well
how its done maybe? I’m pretty shy for making video’s i think haha but i’ll
    think about it. 😉

  5. Hi John. If you are still looking for someone to help in your garden I live
in Las Vegas and am willing to help out. I have time on Sundays mostly. I
started a garden here at my home based childcare this year and we are
    having a blast!

  8. I’m a first time organic grower and inspired by your many videos. My
question is: If one has limited space and wants to have 1 or 2 4’x8′ raised
beds, what are the most nutritionally rich herbs, greens for juicing and
vegies that are above all others especially in a Northeastern climate. Do
you have something like a top ten list or so? I tried to make my own list
from your videos but you have so many plants to choose from that I’m a bit
confused. Thanks for all the info you have shared.

  9. I am a tutor and I make sure my student helps me out in the garden at least
one hour per week. It makes for an excellent change of pace, allows her to
clear her head and still continue learning. Also,my two year old daughter
helped me plant seeds and transplants this year and loves to weed and
water. She loves the peas. Maybe soon we’ll get Daddy on board. Ugh! I wish
I lived out there. I would gladly be your SLAVE! LOL

  15. John, I cant believe that I didnt even know this channel existed! I think,
like many other people, I was trying to absorb as much info from your raw
foods channel, and never even knew there was another source to learn from.
You should make sure to mention this channel on your other channel, so that
new people can subscribe. Thanks again for the help ordering and getting
the juicer and dehydrator to Canada this week, we are so excited for them
    to arrive!

  18. John – you are doing such a wonderful job!!!! Your passion and inspiration
is so energizing for so many – and THIS is what helps to shift the
Dominator paradigm – – it helps spread motivation to others to grow, to see
what is can be done – whether for just themselves and/or in growing for
others. Anyone who can help you will be blessed and inspired! We need this
in all areas of our lives from gardening, juicing, health, psychology,
meditation, and spirituality – – Wishing you joy!!!!

WOW!!!!! Also love your message of sharing knowledge – in this case
gardening – which is so uplifting. A ‘shoten zenji’ . Thanks.

  20. Jhon, i like your videos and have gotten alot of info from them. I love to
grow exotic fruit trees especially tropical varieties and some local
varieties here in southern california like guavas, lychees,
    chico,pumello,zapotes, moringa.macademia nuts.asian pears, cara oranges,
blood orange, mandarin, fuyu persimmons, blue berries. However, my neighbor
has 3 large trees and have very invasive roots and has crossed over to my
lot, help what can I do? My fruit trees have stunted growth help.

  21. Great vid and so inspiring! You’re right it’s very empowering growing your
own food, knowing where it’s coming from and just being connected to the
whole process. I don’t have a yard, just a deck so everything I have is in
containers but your vids and other gardeners on youtube have inspired me to
push the envelope this year to see what’s possible! I made a vermicompost
bin and am growing typical stuff but also growing sunflowers, corn, even
sugarcane! 😀 We’ll see how it goes. Thanks again!

  23. John, I have to hand it to you, if it weren’t for all the info I’ve learned
from watching your show, it probably would’ve taken me much longer to get
the courage to invest in, and build, an aquaponic garden in my backyard.
You really are an inspiration to many, keep up the great work! My goal with
the aquaponics is to blend your techniques (Azomite, worm tea, copying
nature) with my techniques (focus on efficiency), with typical aquaponics
to get the best of both worlds. Like you say, CNEI!

  24. Love your videos. Thank you for what you are doing for humanity. Love open
source operating systems, OS online college classes, and so on. Since you
asked to see gardens, I shared my first garden video with you as a “video
response,” but I didn’t see it post…. I live at a high altitude,
tropical, so gardening is a little different from there, it seems. All the
    best to you and yours!
