Is goats milk considered a dairy product? I am trying to avoid dairy, but have been interested in unpasteurized goats milk lately. Does it even taste good?

Yes it has calcium. And yes its a dairy product. Milk from a mammal IS dairy.

Yes, it’s dairy. As what’s been said, if it comes from a living mammal, it’s dairy (when it comes to milk.)
If you’re looking for a non-dairy source of calcium, drink almond milk.

It has calcium and yes it is dairy because it comes from the teets of a female mammal. I personaly don’t like the taste or thickness of goats milk, but goat cheese every once in a while is pretty good on a salad.

Yea it has calcium and in my opinion tastes WAY better than cows milk. Its very good. I buy it fresh all the time from a local farmer.

yes it does and is more easily digested than cows milk, is naturally homogenized to a certain extent.
It CAN taste very good.
I had a couple of dairy goats when my kids were small and when the goats were allowed free range(before or after the garden was in, the milk often tasted sweet and cinnamony.
Humans have drank all kinds of mammal milk from camel to horse to water buffalo to goat and sheep. In fact different cheese are made from different milks which imparts different flavors. Milk has been drank for about 10,000 years.
