  2. ironhead41 Ya the sprouts are coming up well. They’re a bit slow still
since it’s not very warm yet but they’re making it. I’d much rather have a
place like yours of course but for the time being I can use the deck to
learn about gardening. I’ll have this place paid by November then with no
change to my spending habits I can save around 30k through the next year,
then move up to a house. I want a big yard, big south facing windows, and a
south facing roof for solar panels. That’s my plan.

  3. @GulfCoastJaguarundi OOO! This is bad. This is my first attempt to reply
using the new comments method. Man this is terrible! I can’t even see half
of my text!. The Tacoma area is pretty close to Puget sound so we get a
good amount of temperature stabilization. It’s really cloudy but our
growing season starts pretty early for as far north as we are. It’s
beautiful in your state though. I’ve been there.

  5. GoatHollow Puget sound evens out a lot of the temperature swings we’d
otherwise have up here. It rarely gets super hot and rarely gets much below
freezing. We do get a lot of rain though. When most of the country has
clear skies we have overcast. Of course the chem-trails make it a lot worse
than it otherwise would be but it’s always been this way. I think we’re
done with the snow for the year though.

  6. @skybirdbird They made it, except for a 6 inch patch where a slug got in
and ate them down. The rest of them are doing quite well. I thinned some
radishes today and they’re quite tasty. No wonder the slug liked them. I
also had some green onions a few weeks back and decided to plant the root
ends after I had chopped the greens. They’re growing too.
