I want a recipies for chicken using a crock-pot (slow cooker), weather it be past,or…as long as it inlcudes pasta, also if you boil chicken will it be fully cooked before it compltely breaks down?

  1. Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore

    1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
    3 lbs. cut up chicken
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste or sauce
    4 oz. sliced mushrooms
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 to 2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. celery seed, optional
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 cup water

    Place onions in bottom of crock pot. Add chicken pieces. Stir
    together remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken. Cook on low
    7 to 9 hours; high 3 to 4 hours. Serve over angel hair pasta.

    Chicken Noodle Soup

    1 broiler-fryer (3 to 3 1/2 lbs), cut up and skinned
    2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    salt
    2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
    3/4 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
    1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 bay leaf
    2 quarts water
    2 1/2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles

    Place the first 4 ingredients in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker in the
    order listed. Combine salt and the next 6 ingredients, sprinkle
    over vegetables. Add 6 cups water, cover and cook on low setting
    for 8 to 10 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaf, add remaining 2
    cups water. Stir in noodles and cook, covered, on high setting
    for 20 minutes. Meanwhile remove bones from chicken and cut chicken
    into bite-size pieces. Add to slow cooker, stir to mix. Cook for
    15 minutes on high setting, covered or until noodles are tender.

    Chicken Parmigiana

    3 whole chicken breasts
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 cup dry bread crumbs
    1 1/4 cups butter
    10 1/2 oz can pizza sauce
    6 slices mozarella cheese
    Parmesan cheese

    Cut chicken breasts into halves. In a bowl, beat egg, salt and
    pepper; dip chicken into egg, then coat with crumbs. In large
    skillet saute chicken in butter. Arrange chicken in crockpot Pour
    pizza sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
    Add mozarella cheese, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Cover and
    cook 15 minutes. Serve over noodles

    Chicken Tetrazzini

    4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 2″ strips
    1 cup chicken broth
    1/2 cup dry white wine
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
    8 mushrooms, sliced
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    1/4 cup water
    1/2 cup half and half
    8 ounces spaghetti, broken into 2 inch, pieces-cooked and drained
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    In a slow cooker, combine chicken, broth, wine, onion, salt, thyme,
    pepper, and parsley. Cover and cook on Low 4 to 5 hours. Turn
    control to High. Add mushrooms. In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch
    in water; stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook on High 20 minutes.
    Stir in half and half, cooked spaghetti, and half the cheese. Cover
    and heat on High 5 to 10 minutes. Spoon into serving dish; sprinkle
    with remaining cheese.

  2. TANGY CROCKPOT CHICKEN

    1 frying chicken, cut up
    2 tbsp. melted butter
    Salt and pepper
    2 tbsp. (1 pkg.) dry Italian salad dressing mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    6 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sherry
    1 tbsp. chopped onion

    Wash chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put in crockpot. Sprinkle dry salad dressing mix over all. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. About 3/4 hour before serving mix soup (undiluted) with cream cheese (cut up in cubes), and wine and onion in a saucepan. Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken in pot. Cover and cook 30 minutes on low. Serve with sauce and rice or noodles

  3. CROCK POT BBQ CHICKEN:

    4 to 6 pieces chicken
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup barbecue sauce

    Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker and pour ketchup and barbecue sauce over the top of the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

    NOTE: Try adding one chopped onion for a delicious flavor.

    CASSEROLE

    Amount Measure Ingredient — Preparation Method

    4 large Chicken breasts
    1 can Cream of chicken soup (small
    1 can Cream of clery soup (small)
    1 can Cream of mushroom soup (sm)
    1/2 cup Diced celery
    1 cup Minute rice

    Mix in crock-pot the 3 cans of soup and rice. Place the chicken on top of
    the mixture, then add the diced celery. Cook for 3 hours on high or 4
    hours on low. Makes 4 servings. More rice, about 1/2 cup, and 2 other
    chicken breasts may be added to make 6 servings.
