  1. no, if you bake chicken in an oven it is baked chicken.

you could… take a vat of oil, heat it in the oven, and throw some chicken in there. but your house will catch on fire.

  6. I first made this when I was 14.
    It is still perfect today!

    Oven-Fried Chicken

    1 Tbs. butter
    2/3 cup Original Bisquick mix
    1 1/2 tsp paprika
    1 1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    3 to 3 1/2 ob cut-up broiler-fryer chicken
Heat oven to 425°F. Melt butter in 13″x9″ baking dish. Stir together Bisquick mix, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken. Place skin sides down in dish (dish and butter should be hot). Bake 35 min; turn chicken. Bake about 15 min. longer or until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. 5 servings.
    Bake 50 min.

  9. Yes, Here’s How I do oven fried chicken

    You need :
    a food processor or mini-chopper
    Bread, Stuffing, or Crackers
Seasonings and Herbs or choice if you don’t use stuffing.
Oil (prefer this to cooking spray when making this)
    Maybe Butter or Parmesan Cheese
Egg yoke or Milk. Egg yoke works a little better for me.

Break bread or Put crackers or Stuffing in Mini-chopper.
Add herbs, cheese, butter, seasonings. Do it however you want to do it.
    Make your crumbs.

Dip your chicken in the milk or egg yoke.

Roll your chicken in your crumbs or make your own shake-n-bake bag.

Bake for on 400 degrees between 1hr to 1.5hr give or take some time.

I use discretion when it comes to cooking so forgive me if these instructions aren’t clear. I don’t have measurements for anything.

  12. Yes its called oven-fried chicken. You basicly just flour the chicken or cover it in bread crumbs and bake it. Its called fried because of the results but not because of the cooking method.

  13. My family has always done this.
    Heat oven to 400
    cut up your chicken
get a clean bag, plastic or paper – large
put a cup of flour, salt and pepper Johnnys seasoning or any powdered garlic, onion, etc.
    put chicken in bag, shake
put coated pieces on a baking pan or sheet.
    bake approx 45 min.
It’s not dried out and everybody loves it.
