  1. Sounds great…We are in the shortest wettest coldest growing season here
and Latah tomatoes are the only ones that will grow outdoors, I have to use
very short season even in the greenhouse 🙂

  3. It evolved from a gravel lot to what we have now over 8 years. I had all
the basics in the first year. (stone wall, topsoil, wild plants) Two years
ago did the raised beds, arbor & trellis, we completed it in about 1 month.
I prune and plant in the spring ( 2-3 weekends a few hours each weekend), I
water & mow in summer (1 hour a week) Check for bugs (20 minutes per night
because we have mutant slugs!) and harvest as needed. I spend more time
watching and eating from it than working at it 🙂

  5. Awesome garden! How long did it take you from start to finish, and how many
hours a day you spend picking and taking care of it? Thinking of doing one
    here too.

  8. A room, like inside the house? My house is very small, I do have a house
tour here, but I’m speaking…Did you want one without voice for
relaxation? If you just wanted to see the house you can search ( (Tour of
our healthy home – Green Home Construction ) I can do another quiet one too
    🙂

  11. Thanks 🙂 We pretty much did everything ourselves. We bought the wooded lot
9 years ago. Yes it’s just regular washed 1″ crushed stone, we had a second
load delivered and the pit sent 1″ washed granite so some of that is mixed
    in too.

  20. The white chives are an heirloom, I love them too. I could share some seeds
if you remind me in the fall (because I will probably forget haha) Thanks

  23. Thanks 🙂 It took a few years and a lot of work, but we like it, if the
weather is nice and the black flies aren’t swarming 😀

  24. That would be fantastic! I am experimenting with some heirloom tomatoes,
and if I find they are successful in our northern climate short growing
season, I would be happy to send you some seeds in return! <3
