  1. Yeah, it took a couple years since that tree blocks out most of the sun,
but now there is a constant supply of them!

suite…. It’s a requirement here and you know that! Haha nice looking
    plants man! Aloha

  8. You can use ANY fish, as long as it’s freshwater. I have seem systems with
    only GUPPIES in it.

have a daughter, I’m sure you would agree with my statement as well! Aloha!

  15. Aquaponics is so cool. Once I have my own place where I can set something
like this up, I’m totally doing it.

  18. Poo is definitely a great fertilizer. I didn’t show it on the video, but
one of the leaves on the tomato plant is about the size of Rosie
O’Donnell’s HEAD! It’s huge. My mother-in-law saw it and couldn’t believe
it was part of the tomato plant.

  19. I could but I won’t. Not only does my house border a high school, but I had
cops come to my next door neighbors house recently. I don’t need them
snooping around my yard because of some weed plants. I will stick to fruits
and vegetables to feed my family.

  21. Let me know when you do. I’d love to see a video of it. That’s the beauty
with aquaponics is that you can set it up anywhere. I have friends who have
one inside their house, using only a small fish tank, a grow light, and
some tupperware containers to grow some vegetables indoors.

  24. Thanks Joe! I love watching it too! My dad wants me to build him one, and
when I do, I will film the entire process so that you guys can see how to
make one yourself. I think Pam would love to have something like this in
    the Case backyard!

  25. The fish tank plants are purely decorative (all plastic). I did it for a
little scenery for the fish, as well as to add places to hide for any
smaller fish or babies that may eventually be born in there. The reason why
I didn’t add real plants to the water is because they would suck up some of
the nutrients which I would prefer get sent directly to the garden overhead.
