  6. I hope you dont get as many either, it can be a bit of a problem when your
trying to grow things in the yard. I hope they dont mess with the garden
this year, last year they didnt, so maybe this year I’ll have the same
    luck! =)

  7. They would probably eat the bugs around the yard though which is a plus.
Last year we had raccoons digging in our garden as usual, the neighbors dog
& cats lol. The worst of them is the ground moles they are impossible to
keep away. We have a acre and our yard is littered in hills. The one thing
I thought they didn’t like was garlic & they ate every bulb we planted!

  9. The turkeys would fertilize your grass if they drop feces. I have a rabbit
and often use her litter as a natural fertilizer since she is a herbivore,
it is very beneficial to the soil and provides key minerals. Another
natural source is horse and chicken manure. It needs to be aged. I am in to
    natural and organic gardening. 🙂

  11. Hi hun, yes, they look like they are coming back. I started to see lots of
flowers budding out, so fingers crossed they will produce. The remaining
little melons on the plants went bad, they turned yellow and rotted, I
guess the weight of all the dirt did something to them. But like I said,
they look fine right now…so we will see. =)

  14. We also get deer, groundhogs, raccoons and turtles here too, thats why I’m
always nervous when it comes to my garden, last year they didnt bother it,
the fencing helps out, so I’m hoping this year will be a good one too. I
dont think they would fertilize it, they would just want to eat it. lol

  15. Yes, we have those here too, I was lucky enough last year because we did
have the mole hills in the yard but it never went into the garden, only at
the very end, when the garden was dying down is when we started noticing
    the hills in the garden

  18. yes, we do the same thing here…hubby walks to the end of our yard and
into the woods and throws the food back there, the problem is we get all
kinds of criters in the yard, but as long as they leave my garden alone I
have no problem with them! lol

  25. Very cool! I seem to have deer, groundhogs and every now and then a turtle.
Maybe they will provide some natural fertilizer for your garden, just a
    thought! 🙂
